Who owns and runs Pear Tree Childcare Nurseries and After School Clubs?
Our website reflects the ethos of our nurseries; fun, caring, personal, yet with a professional approach. If you’ve visited either of our Farnborough Nurseries or our nursery in Pirbright, I’m sure you’ll agree what a warm and friendly environment we have created, and in some way we hope the website goes some way to recreate this “virtually” for all our online visitors.
Sara and I opened our first nursery in October 2004. Sara had worked as a nursery nurse and always dreamt of running her own day nursery. Fortunately we have been able to make the dream a reality and instead of one she now has three! It’s definitely very much a family business, our children have been through Pirbright and Pear Tree Day Nursery, so we understand what it’s like to be a parent too and all the concerns you may have for your child when choosing a day nursery.
We are fortunate that our parents like to get involved in our nurseries as much as they can; whether it’s cheering the children on during sports day, or singing carols at our Christmas concerts. Not everyone can attend these events so you can use our new Day Nursery Blog to keep up to date.
We're very lucky to have an excellent staff team, lead by managers Pascale, Emily, Kate and Suzy. They have full control over 'their' teams and theyve done an amazing job of people the right people together to care for your children.
Happy children are what we all strive for in the Pear Tree Childcare, we know that if your child is happy, you will be too. In fact we even offer a Happiness Guarantee, allowing your child unlimited settling in sessions until they are completely happy and secure. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.
So, sit back, grab a cup of tea and have a good look around.
Ruby really likes the new storytime corner for hiding and playing in. Feels like a basecamp. She loves the decking area because you can go out and play even if the grass is muddy. She really likes the crafting activities with glitter and glue. She often talks about books at nursery which are different to our books from home and enjoys talking about which of her friends favour particular books. She adores the toy dog 'Pippin' and often has stories about playing with it with Gemma or Sarah. Her other favourite toys at nursery are a box that you have of ex-display mobile phones because they look so real and "really grown up". Thanks for all your hard work.
